{"id":726,"date":"2012-08-31T11:48:22","date_gmt":"2012-08-31T18:48:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.californiastudioglass.org\/?p=726"},"modified":"2012-11-01T12:47:41","modified_gmt":"2012-11-01T19:47:41","slug":"penelope-starr-artist-bio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.californiastudioglass.org\/?p=726","title":{"rendered":"Penelope Starr Artist Bio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Has worked in glass for over 40 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lightandglass.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.lightandglass.us<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Penelope has completed over 165 glass commissions placed in corporate, institutional, public and private spaces. \u00a0She atarted out in stained glass and switched to 3-D work after Pilchuck course in 1986.\u00a0 From slumping, \u00a0she moved to creating landscapes incorporating non-glass materials and lighting as well as glass. She is now casting glass.
